Pastor Melanie Wilder, affectionately known as Lady Mel, was born on September 1, 1983, in Valdosta, Georgia. She is the devoted wife of Pastor Juan M. Wilder, Sr., the visionary leader of Impact One Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Together, they celebrate 23 years of marriage and are the proud parents of three amazing sons—Juan Jr., Jacob, and Jordan—and their beautiful 6-month-old daughter, Jada.

As a passionate woman of faith, Pastor Mel stands faithfully with her husband in ministry, helping to advance the mission of Impact One Church: “Impacting the world one life at a time.” She is adored for her loving and Christ-like heart, is a true intercessor, passionate about worship, and empowering others through the Word of God.

Pastor Mel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology. Her ministry journey began early—by the tender age of eight, she was playing both the keyboard and drums, which are gifts she continues to use for God’s glory. Pastor Mel has served as the Minister of Music at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Valdosta, GA, Youth Minister at Christian Fellowship Church in Warner Robins, GA, and Music Director at Impact One Church (formerly New Life Worship Center) in Capitol Heights, MD.

She currently serves as the Associate Pastor at Impact One Church while fluently and gracefully carrying and executing her role as the First Lady. Pastor Mel leads the Ladies of Virtue (LOV) Ministry, where she inspires and equips women to grow in faith, walk in purpose, and live victoriously in Christ.

Above all, her is a devoted servant of God whose greatest joy is loving her family, serving the Lord, and fulfilling His divine call on her life. Pastor Mel’s mission is simple yet powerful—to bring glory and honor to God in all she does.
